For a Mets fans, the upcoming Yankees-Phillies World Series is the baseball equivalent of Hitler vs. Stalin. (Okay, my analogy is a tad overblown. Mets fans will understand.)
Tom Coffey is a writer and editor with an extensive background in journalism. His first novel The Serpent Club was published in 1999 and earned a starred review from Publishers Weekly. His second novel Miami Twilight was published in 2001. Tom has been a member of the Mystery Writers of America since 1999.
A graduate of the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, Tom has been a reporter and editor for some of America’s leading newspapers. A staff editor at The New York Times since 1997, he has also worked for New York Newsday, The Los Angeles Herald-Examiner and The Miami Herald.
Tom lives in Lower Manhattan with his wife and daughter.
